Lambasingi Tribal Products Farmers Producer Company Limited is a tribal farmer-owned organization established in 2021 in the scenic hill region of Lambasingi, located in Alluri Sitharama Raju District of Andhra Pradesh. Known for its misty climate and rich biodiversity, Lambasingi is home to tribal communities who have been practicing natural and traditional agriculture for generations.
The organization was formed with the support of ICAR-Indian Institute of Millets Research (ICAR-IIMR), Hyderabad and NABARD to empower tribal farmers by providing fair market access, value addition and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Our Heritage and Tribal Farming Tradition
The tribal farmers of Lambasingi cultivate a diverse range of crops including millets, turmeric, black pepper, coffee, rajma and seasonal fruits such as pineapple, strawberry, jackfruit, mango. These crops are grown using traditional and natural farming practices in the clean, pollution-free environment of the Eastern Ghats.
Their deep-rooted agricultural knowledge, passed down through generations, ensures the production of safe, nutritiousand naturally grown products.

Technical Support
ICAR-Indian Institute of Millets Research (ICAR-IIMR), Hyderabad, stands as a beacon of agricultural innovation and sustainability, dedicated to advancing millet research and promoting sustainable agriculture in India. As part of its mandate, ICAR-IIMR plays a pivotal role in empowering Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) across states such as Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnatakaand Madhya Pradesh. Through strategic guidance, capacity buildingand technical support, ICAR-IIMR has promoted 40 FPOs across these four states and continues to handhold several others, strengthening farmer institutions and enhancing rural livelihoods.
In Andhra Pradesh, ICAR-IIMR has supported 9 FPOs across Alluri Sitharama Raju, Visakhapatnam, and Anakapalli districts. These FPOs serve as important platforms for improving agricultural practices, strengthening value chains, enhancing market accessand improving the socio-economic conditions of farming communities.
